Reportér Brazil

Reportér Brazil is a Brazilian non-governmental organization founded in 2001 by a group of journalists, social scientists and educators, specialized in communication and social projects. It aims to foster reflection and action about situations of injustice and blatant disregard for human rights and environmental rights. It works in four areas:. Social journalism, communication and education, the fight against slavery and monitor the impacts of biofuel production .

It is focused on two main areas. In the journalistic scope, the NGO operates through reports, news and investigative documentaries that address issues such as child labor and modern-day slavery. In the educational area the NGO is active in projects such as slavery, and aims at training educators and community leaders in socially vulnerable places from slave labor.
