The USO is a pluralistic union open to all workers, with full respect for their religious conceptions and practices, philosophical, ideological, political or cultural.

The USO has been operating for more than 400 union headquarters, from the Confederal level to enterprise level.
The USO has more than 10,000 union representatives elected by workers in businesses and workplaces, and negotiated over 500 collective agreements.
