In Burundi, the sector of the informal economy represents 72.8% of the occupied actives and 98% of total employment. These workers are precarious, scattered, voiceless and without any recognition in the Labour Code. Over the next three years, the partnership CGSLB COSYBU-structure sectors coaching union workers in the informal economy in order to ensure social dialogue that meets their needs and individual and collective defense of their human rights at work.
