The teachers’ syndicate of Lebanon was founded in 1938 to support the requests of the teachers, to improve the pedagogic level through the training sessions, and to plan a solidarity project in the Mutual Fund and the Indemnity Fund.
In 1960, the Lebanese teachers’ syndicate was divided : “the syndicate of the private schools” and “syndicate of public schools”. After many efforts, these two became “the Lebanese teachers’ syndicate” on the 3rd of August 1953.
Its main office is located in Beirut and its different branches are located at : Beirut, Mount-Lebanon, the North, South, Bekaa and Nabatieh
