Social dialogue in the Public sector, Phase III
Immediate objectives :
1. CMTU’s - and the social partners - have improved their capacity on national and regional level for protecting labour rights ;
2. CMTU are conducting active advocacy to review the labour code and to increase awareness on the importance of labour rights protection.
Development objectives :
In the middle of 2012 Mongolian workers, particularly in the private and informal sector, have achieved better labour market protection and therefore improved their living and working conditions.
Working method
1. Training of Trainers on Social Dialogue and Quality Public Service.
2. National Workshop on Social Dialogue as a Management Tool for Department of Health Regional Directors.
3. Materials Development/Adaptation Workshop.
4. Drafting of workplace level inputs to the development of a draft national OSH standards for the health and education sectors, and for the drafting of a national framework for institutionalizing social dialogue in the public sector
5. Local Government Unit Level Social Dialogues with Pilot Schools and Healthcare facilities, which will assume different forms (consultations, information sharing, even, negotiations and joint agreements).
