Objectives:
To influence government’s national public sector restructuring policy in order to ensure that outsourced work is phased out and permanently employed public service jobs are increased
To engage fully with government at the policy development level to ensure that there are sufficient resources allocated to the effective delivery of public services across all sectors
To strengthen the women’s committee and gender policy of the unions in order to ensure that alternative public sector restructuring proposals mainstream gender into service delivery.
