Organising & recruitment skills training to strengthen trade union organising in the transport sector in Mozambique and Angola

Overall the project aims to capacitate union in organising, capaigning and bargaining skill, including the production of booklet with simplified labour laws support organising and baragining. The ITF organising manual has also been translated into portuguese to support this work.

The broader project objectives are;
- Unions will be able to develop and implement comprehensive union strategies to organise and recruit more members from the formal and precarious transport workers
-Unions will be able to engage both local and multinational employers and negotiate comprehensive collective bargaining agreements
-Unions will be able to effectively participate in ITF solidarity work and campaigns in Africa region and internationally
