Objectives :
- To build a trade union educational centre ;
- To elaborate a trade union educational policy that not only trains members in union issues, but also focuses on human rights, a variety of skills and efforts to reconcile different ethnic groups ;
- To reach the point that, at project termination, the educational centre will be part of the unions’ ’normal’ work and they will be able to run all activities without donor help ;
- To ensure that educational unions at project termination have pools of active members specialized in topics like human rights - women’s and children’s too - and mediation and reconciliation ;
- To train hundreds of teachers in practical language and/or computer skills and involve them in awareness raising activities about the importance of reconciliation.
