Description of the project
To assist workers in the Middle East and North Africa to work collectively to defend their rights and advocate for their needs through independent unions, the Center will train unionists on workplace level representation and internal organizing, who will then train elected workplace level union representatives around the country. The Center will also convene a regional meeting for union representatives from MENA countries currently experiencing restrictions against freedom of association to enable them to share their experiences and learn from each other.
