Description of the project
To create an international learning network, the Center will strengthen the skills, vision, and relationships of labor leaders and their pro-democracy partners across multiple regions to prepare them to engage effectively in democratic and economic transitions, both directly and through their organizations. This network will equip labor to more capably oppose illiberal forces by cooperating with civil society and actively participating in democratic governance reform.

Objective 1: To create a lasting framework for a cross-sectoral and cross-regional learning network of labor and pro-democracy movement leaders worldwide, with a replicable and sustainable curriculum for leadership training.

Objective 2: To strengthen the collective and individual capacity of union leaders and pro-democracy allies to engage in opposing illiberal forces both directly and through their organizations, and to become more effective actors in democratic reform.
