Decent Work in the Petroleum Sector in Mozambique

Description
The focus will continue to be on strengthening SINTIQUIAF’s capacity to organise in the petroleum sector through membership recruitment in the upstream sector, organising by forming local union structures in the workplaces, and training of shop stewards – in basic trade union rights and negotiation skills. Additionally, the project also seeks to contribute to improved working conditions in the sector through increasing the collective agreement coverage, establishing local occupational safety, health and environment (OHSE) committees in all the workplaces with union structures, and providing these committees with adequate training in OHSE.
