Building a Collective Voice for Moroccan Women Workers in the Red Fruits Sector (OSF)

The overall goal of the project is to develop union capacity to represent workers in the red fruits sector, as a means to improve working and employment conditions in the cultivation and processing of red fruits in Morocco. The specific objectives for the proposed 24-month program are to:

1. Expand trade union reach to women berry workers in the Gharb and Loukkos regions.

2. Establish the building blocks for a trade union strategy to organize and represent berry workers in Morocco and advocate for women workers in the Contracts in Origin program.
