To promote freedom of association and other workers’ rights in Southern Africa, the Center will develop and strengthen the capacity of regional federations and trade unions operating in the textile and garment sector, the mining sector, as well as other civil society organizations, through a training program for organizers and union leaders. To coordinate these efforts, the Center will establish a new office in Lesotho and provide subgrants to the Zambia Congress of Trade (...)

To promote the human and labor rightsand the democratic participation of workers in Colombia, Ecuador, Brazil, and Peru, the Center will develop the capacity of its union partners to build relationships with Venezuelan migrant workers to collectively advocate for decent work.
