Associative Development of fishermen, coastal communities and the economy linked to the product in the reservoir of Cerrón Grande
General objective :
Reduce poverty of fishermen of the Cerron Grande reservoir contributing to sustainable socio-economic development of the area.
Specific objective :
To promote ASPESGRA (association of fishermen in second level) and the production plant to increase its inclusive capacities and supportive of revenue generation in the form of association with Cerron Grande
Expected results :
- Improved ability to meet the demand of the territory (fresh and processed under proper techniques and high quality standards and improved Product Distribution Network)
- Strengthened Bases (5 acopes almeno new) have driven associative processes ; % Women on ASPESGRA increased, reaching at least 30%
- To give impetus to a new and complementary vocation plant
Activities
Development of a system of conservation and industrial processing of semi processed / processed (filleted) and creating a "label" quality that characterizes the product Cerron Grande promoted through a marketing promotion strategy
Creating a distribution system business that can operate efficiently within the Salvadoran distribution mechanism, especially the department and then in the country.
Waste Treatment semi fish (fillet), or the skin of the tilapia for making handicrafts (belts, handbags, wallets, shoes and other items of clothing) that are now in markets in different parts of world, focusing on the manufacture of these products and on the involvement of women in the communities
Promote the production plant by optimizing the media, improving infrastructure and creating a structure for sport fishing and recreation.
Technical training, motivational and leadership training to enhance knowledge and training both leaders as operational staff specially designed to increase the presence of women in the Association, also in leadership roles.
