The Association Percosi di Pace (Paths of Peace) was formed officially on December 22, 1995 as an evolution and rethinking of the "Committee of Solidarity with Sarajevo", active in Casalecchio during the war in the former Yugoslavia.

The new Association summarizes the transition from a concrete and immediate emergency response to a more cultural phase involving the Community on issues of peace and peaceful coexistence between different cultures.
