The Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS) is the public agency responsible for promoting international development, public aid and humanitarian emergencies.Operating since January 2016, it allows the Italian government to support its European and international partners for development around the world
The Agency headquarters are in Rome. AICS runs another base in Florence and 20 field offices worldwide for assessing local needs, implementing development initiatives, monitoring results and building partnerships on the ground.
