Agreement between the administration of the Community of Castilla y León and the Fundación Paz y Solidaridad of Castilla y León, to promote a technical cooperation program in training and labor guidance in Central America and South America
Description
The Presidency counseling, with competency in Development Cooperation, signed an agreement with the Fundación Paz y Solidaridad of Castilla y León, with long experience in the execution of actions and programs of Development Cooperation, to carry out a program of technical cooperation in the matter of training and labor guidance (line established as essential in the 3rd Master Plan for Development Cooperation of the Community of Castilla y León) in Chile (considered by the 5th Master Plan of Spanish Cooperation as one of the advanced cooperation countries) as a suitable space for triangulation towards other countries, such as Peru.
The Peace and Solidarity Foundation of Castilla y León has technical personnel and material resources for the development of programs and actions aimed at improving living conditions through training and labor guidance, as well as the ability to use advice of the union "Comisiones Obreras" of Castilla y León and its Foundation for Training and Employment (FOREMCYL).
Objectives
1. Development of technical cooperation actions to promote the improvement of living conditions and the sustainable development of the most vulnerable people in impoverished countries in Central America and South America based on training actions and guidance and socio-labor advice .
2. The purpose of these actions is to increase the capacities of organizations and people to promote their own economic and labor development.
Type of activities
Installation of a job guidance and counseling office in the city of Valdivia, capital of the Los Ríos Region (Chile). In that same city, organizations based in it have carried out the following training:
Transoceanic Corporation: Food Handling, Computing, Home electrical installation, English, Security Guards.
FIEL Foundation: Basic and advanced union training
Results achieved
In addition to the training provided, a job placement survey will be carried out.
