Objective: Strengthen the ability of unions, disabled persons organizations and allied advocacy organizations in Kyrgyzstan to defend the rights of persons with disabilities in the world of work by advocating for improvements to legal frameworks and improving utilization of existing mechanisms.

The overall goal of the program is to reduce discrimination in employment of and protect labor rights for persons with disabilities in Kyrgyzstan. This will be achieved through a 24-month project to develop and support a coalition of DPOs, unions, labor law experts and employer organizations in Kyrgyzstan to improve the legal framework and enforcement mechanisms that protect the employment rights of persons with disabilities and build public demand for social change.
