The Foundation’s Local Economic Development Agency of Chalatenango (Fundación Agencia de Desarrollo Económico Local de Chalatenango - ADEL) is a private, apolitical and nonprofit organization. It was created in 1993 by different economic-productive organizations, grassroots organizations, with the support of the central government, local governments, and PRODERE / UNDP.

Contribute to the competitive development of the economic sectors, production and business planning, by exploiting local potential, technological innovation, strengthening the capacities and investment opportunities, and implementation of actions to enhance the participation and the impact on policies and strategies of economic development with equity.
