The Finnish Construction Trade Union is one of the biggest unions of the Labour Market Organization, SAK, assembling about 85 000 members. It is the only trade union organizing and representing workers in different occupations in the building and construction industry.

Rakennusliitto´s principal sphere of activities is collective bargaining concerning the terms and conditions of employment with a view to concluding collective agreements and to act as an interest organization in the labour market issues.
