OSSTF/FESSO (Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation) is a strong, independent, socially active union that promotes and advances the cause of public education and the rights of students, educators and educational workers.
It has more than 60,000 members strong. They are educational assistants, continuing education teachers and instructors, psychologists, secretaries, speech-language pathologists, social workers, plant support personnel, attendance counselors and many other education professionals.
Their diverse English and French membership is represented in 140 bargaining units across the province. They work in elementary and secondary school workplaces, private schools and consortia that offer support services to school boards and universities.
