CWMO

Cambodia Women’s Movement Organization (CMWO) was founded in 2006 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia by women leaders from six trade union organizations to empower women working in sub-standard working conditions. The group educates and trains women workers to advocate for themselves and gain leadership skills. Through its workshops and training programs, CMWO also addresses issues of reproductive health, domestic violence in the community, and violence against women workers. To date, the group has resolved five cases of sexual harassment in factories
