The COONGER, Coordination of NGOs and international solidarity of Emilia-Romagna (coordinamento delle ONG e delle associazioni di solidarietà internazionale dell’Emilia-Romagna), was founded in 1991.

COONGER strives to foster dialogue and collaboration between NGOs and associations that deal with international solidarity and cooperation in the region. It also promotes decentralized cooperation projects in developing countries, public awareness campaigns and information on issues of international solidarity, human rights and peace
